Previously Married & Now Another Name Change
? You may have not legally reverted to your
former " maiden name" from your previous " married last
name" ! You may have reverted to your previous legal last
name prior to your last dissolved marriage ! You may still
be using your previous husband's last name! Maybe , you
are known in your business dealings under your maiden name
and personally under your previous married name? These are
a few of the possible combinations of " last names" which
may resemble your current state of affairs as you approach
your new marriage.
Now you are engaged,
planning your wedding and honeymoon, with the above kind
of entanglements brewing under the surface... this added
extra makes it uncomfortable at best! Well, by taking on
your new husband's last name , in any form, and not
properly addressing your past " last name usages", may add
additional frustration & confusion to the mix. Not to
mention, the extra time and money you might spend , just
sorting it all out. So , why not delay the inevitable...?

" former last names mess" , in the first place, has led

time to legally revert to their former maiden name through
notifying the government and others as to their divorce.
In this way , their maiden name can appear on their marriage
license as their " current legal last name". The " previous
married name" , would not be included in on the " new marriage
license". Yet others, do not have enough time prior to their
marriage to " legally revert to their maiden name". These
girls find themselves notifying the government and others
as to their divorce and remarriage name change, all at the
same time! Other brides, legally carrying the name of their
first husband, but being married for the third time, have
even more of an entanglement to sort out! Especially , if
they have not notified as to their second marriage and subsequent
divorce !
